We have the pleasure to announce to you that Danubius University of Galati, Romania, in collaboration with Arcadia University, USA, organizes the 3rd Annual International Conference on Global Advancement of Universities and Colleges (GAUC). The Conference will be held in Galati, Romania, from May 29 – June 2, 2013.
We are writing to you on behalf of the 2013 GAUC Conference Organizing Committee for the purpose of inviting you to participate in the upcoming 3rd Annual International Conference on Global Advancement of Universities and Colleges (GAUC). We hope you will be able to join us and to spread the word among your colleagues and other professional contacts.
In the past two to three decades, there was a leading force (of interest) at work in higher education worldwide – i.e. the globalization of higher education. There are many countries new to the private higher education phenomenon, there are many providers new to the business of higher education, and all countries are new to the issue of globalization in higher education. This situation provides a tremendous opportunity for global discourse on issues of higher education sector for scholars, managers, and leaders of higher education as well as for government officials whose interest is to ensure excellence in higher education for all their citizens.
The purpose of the Annual International Conference on Global Advancement of Universities and Colleges (GAUC) is to provide a forum for exchange of ideas, research outcomes, business case and technical achievements.
The 2013 GAUC Conference advances for discussion the following main themes:
* Internationalization of Quality Assurance, Accreditation and Management of Higher Education
* Entrepreneurial Higher Education
* Higher Education Globalization
* Quality Assurance and Accreditation in a Globalized Society (Pros and Cons of American Higher Education Approach)

PAPERS PUBLISHING:
The full papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings and, depending on the topics, the best articles will be published in one of the following Danubius Journals:
